BALLARD’S AMERICAN GRILL
Bringing order to Seattle’s seasonal mood disorder
with our seasonal menus
Located in the 101 year old historic Firehouse No. 18 built in 1911, we serve up a rotating menu that features the best of our four seasons here in the Pacific Northwest. With an emphasis on our grilled and brick oven roasted dishes, our line turns out tasty, full flavored food for breakfast, lunch and dinner each and every day.
Our comforting & hearty Winter dinner menu offers up a number of seasonal small plates, Grilled Petite Fillet, a small shoulder tender fillet, horseradish cream & tobacco onions or the Winter Endive Salad with shaved local pears, currants & Pt. Reyes bleu cheese tossed in coffee-caramel vinaigrette . For a meal, give our Pork Tenderloin, pan-seared rosemary rubbed tenderloin, gruyere & smoked ham gratin, seared brussels sprouts & a Madeira herb demi-glace or our Pappardelle Pasta, with porchini & crimini mushroom ragu, arugula & parmesan a try.
Our American Grill menu offers up our year round favorites including, Hickory Smoked Spareribs with Big Wheel BBQ Sauce, a fine northwest grass-fed Hamburger, and an assortment of brick-oven pizzas, or for those late-late risers, our Nighthawk Breakfast is available for dinner.
Breakfast brings home the bacon with the standard breakfast options, or you can try one of our Hi-Life Habits, which include Clean-up on Aisle 12, a delicious root vegetable hash, or our ever present Biscuits & Gravy. Go ahead, wash it all down with a Firehouse Bloody Mary and roll home for a nap.
Check out our Not-so-Early-Bird Ballard Breakfasts that are available Monday-Friday only. Your choice of 5 dishes for only $5.75!
Lunch sets you up with a wide selection of signature sandwiches such as our Black Bean & Quinoa Burger served with a salad, or our B.L.A.T. with lemon aioli. Not in the mood for a sandwich? Then try one of our entrées like the Chicken Pot Pie with a savory stew and biscuit crust or our classic Fish & Chips made with Alaskan True Cod, and, don’t forget that we serve our full breakfast menu every day ‘til 3pm.
We have a bountiful, mostly Northwest wine list with 20 different wines by the glass, as well as a spirited bar with seasonally changing cocktails and local brews on tap.
We also have a fine little private dining room available. We can host a combination cocktail party and sit down dinner for up to 26 seated or 36 cocktail if you please. For more information, check out our Private Dining Room page.
