Mioposto, Or translated, "My place" is nestled amongst the greenery and garden-like setting of Seattle's historic Mount Baker neighborhood. Mioposto Caffe & Pizzeria is CHOW's 6th neighborhood restaurant, born March of 2006.The fire from its wood burning oven exudes the warmth and fragrance of Mioposto's menu featuring the intimate and soul satisfying flavors from the Italian hearth. Hand made (traditional and not so traditional) individual size pizzas, panini and stromboli are lovingly born from a special dough recipe, created by CHOW Foods' Executive Chef, 'Emilia.' 'Angeli Pan' or translated, 'Angel's Bread' is rightly named for this special ingredient that effortlessly finds its way throughout the heart of the menu. For you early risers, Mioposto's offerings include organic espresso from Caffé Vita, fresh juices and an abundant variety of baked goods from Seattle's finest local bakeries. Set amidst pedestrian-friendly, tree lined streets across from the park, only a hop skip & jump from the shores of Lake Washington, Mioposto sparkles on its intimate corner adorned by striped awnings and Adirondack chairs while festive music serenades thru the breeze of its open windows on a spring or summer day. |
